Jennifer will demonstrate how to use a variety of textiles to piece together fabric collages whose design is driven by the colors, patterns, and shapes contained within the textile.

April 18, 2023  - Demo Artist - Scott Downs - The use of complementary and analogous color schemes in paintings.

Scott will discuss using complementary and analogous color schemes to create unique color treatments in paintings.

Scott is the President of the Valle del Sur Art Guild and on the Board of the Gilroy Arts Alliance. An accomplished artist and a well-respected art teacher, he is now retired from teaching in the Los Gatos school district.

May 16, 2023 - Demo Artist - Denise Ballou, Oil Painting.

June 20, 2023 - Demo Artist -  Karen Garnett - how to make painting panels for oil, acrylic, watercolor, and other media.

Karen will demonstrate the use of archival materials at a fraction of the cost of the prepared panels available online. She will also demonstrate how to frame watercolor paintings without glass.
