Join us on our monthly PaintOuts. ​Valle del Sur's PaintOuts are open to all adults wanting to join at scheduled locations for a day of creating art in nature.
What is a PaintOut?
​A PaintOut is also known as painting en Plein Air, or "in the open air".
PaintOuts usually begin at 9 am and we normally paint until noon. We paint on a Thursday, usually once a month and special PaintOuts will be announced from time to time.​
Helpful Tips

Please wear layers as the weather is often unpredictable.​

Bring sunscreen, hats, umbrellas or other sun protection.

If you have any physical limitations, please discuss this with the PaintOut coordinator. They can advise you on appropriate actions.

Please note that many of our venues do not have a restroom nearby.

Bring your own food and drinks.

Bring all your own supplies including a chair to sit on if desired.

You will be advised in advance if there are any fees to attend a particular venue.

Some outdoor locations may be windy and difficult to work in with some mediums.

When you email us, please let us know that you want to be on our PaintOut announcement email list.

Children under 18- Please check with coordinator when you sign up and ask if children are allowed. Some venues could be dangerous for children. Also some materials may not be suitable for children's exposure.​

Carpooling may be available. Ask when you register if you are interested in rideshare to a PaintOut.
PaintOuts 2021
During Covid-19 Restrictions we will continue PJ Paints Via Zoom every 2nd Thursday each month and every 2 weeks in rainy season; from Jan 14, 9:30am to Noonish

If Covid-19 permits an on-site PaintOut, a Zoom Paint scheduled for the same day will be optional for those who prefer to paint at home.
Once Covid-19 Restrictions lift, we will paint on site every 4th Wednesday each month May-Oct. Start time 9am to Noon unless specified otherwise.
