Midday: En route. If it is not windy, paint at Hurricane Point, otherwise Bixby Bridge, or proceed to the lodge.

Big Sur Lodge Check-In time is 4 pm.

Afternoon Evening: Paint Redwoods on campgrounds near Denise’s Campsite, if anyone is camping.

Dinner: Big Sur Lodge.

Wednesday, October 8

Drive to Ventana, paint from the Parking Lot or Dining Terrace

Lunch at Ventana, Paint River at Big Sur River Inn

Dinner: at Big Sur River Inn

Thursday, October 9

Hearty Breakfast at Lodge

Stop at Big Sur Deli and buy a sandwich for lunch

Paint Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park

Lodge to McKay Falls 11.3 miles, 20 minutes

Hike to Falls

AM + PM Julia Pfeiffer, McKay waterfall. am, pm view north. Bring a bag lunch

Dinner on the way home at Nepenthe

Check out time 11-12

Paint near the room or along the river, or hike to the waterfall

En route home: Paint at Rocky Point, Yolanda’s, or Whaler’s Cove

Lunch: at Rio Grille

If a lovely day, afternoon paint at Monastery Beach
