Artist Bio

I started painting at the age of twelve when my dad was stationed in the Pentagon. My mother, sister and I would visit the National Gallery in Washington D.C. At the time I copied Velasquez's, The Water Seller and other works by masters. I also began painting original works in oil and producing art in other media.

My original paintings are currently in two Museums. These are, The San Jose Art Museum and the De Saisset Art Museum in Santa Clara. I have been fortunate to have had a one person show at the Trition Museum when it was in downtown San Jose. This Show received a very favorable review by Raymond Barrio in the San Jose Mercury News.

I won the only Plein Air Contest that I have been in, against twenty-three very good Mid-Peninsula artists. This was in 2005 at Hidden Villa in Los Altos. I have a permanent painting at Hidden Villa in Los Altos with the work of Frank Duveneck one of America’s best artists and a friend of James M. Whistler.

It is my honor to be in Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in America.
